AU Bank has contributed Rs 5 Crore for the Corona relief work. It includes contribution of Rs 2Cr. to Prime Minister Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund; contribution of Rs 51 Lakh each to Delhi and Maharashtra Chief Minister relief funds and support provided to Rajasthan Government for a testing facility that was established in Bhilwara, one of the worst hit districts in Rajasthan. Besides, to combat the challenges posed by COVID-19, AU Bank is contributing over Rs 2Cr. through its various CSR initiatives.
AU Bank CSR team identified the individual needs of various geographies and started appropriate initiatives to serve them. These initiatives include providing food ration kits to needy families through the branch network of AU Bank spread across 11 states; providing hot cooked meals to needy families across Jaipur, Mumbai and other cities and providing medical kits with Masks, Gloves, PPE kits and Sanitizer to health workers and other frontline workers.
The Bank has also started need based items distribution vehicles in collaborating with different district administration across India. The bank has associated with two online donation platforms where AU Bank employees are making donations in high numbers.
On the occasion of 25th anniversary of AU in April 2020, AU Bank further intensified these services. So far, the Bank distributed 2.5 Lakh hot cooked meals; 25,000 ration kits to the needy families; 25,000 masks, gloves & sanitization kits to frontline workers; installed 25 foot-operated hand washing stations and organized 25 vehicles to spread awareness on corona safety measures.

The way India stood strong while following social distancing, I am sure the same sentiment will be displayed now towards combined efforts of social responsibility to bring the nation back to normalcy.”
